Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are secretly negotiating to film the story of heroic journalist James Foley, The National ENQUIRER has learned.
The duo would coproduce the movie, sources say, while Brad would star as James, whose brutal beheading by ISIS shocked the world on Aug. 19.
“Brad wants to put a spotlight on James’ exploits reporting from the world’s most dangerous war zones,” an insider told The ENQUIRER exclusively.
Close sources say the A-list couple have reached out to James’ heartbroken parents, and they’ve been receptive to the idea.
But for now, “it’s all very hush-hush,” added the source.
“James’ story is a passion project for Brad, and Angie couldn’t be more supportive,” the insider said.
“It’s exactly the type of topical and important subject that Brad and Angelina, who has risked her life visiting conflict zones to raise awareness about refugees, are focused on these days.”
