Elton John did an interview to promote his new album — and added a hot shot at Janet Jackson!
The 68-year-old glam-rocker is pushing his new “Wonderful Crazy Night” release, and wants to assure fans that his concert tour is strictly a live affair — unlike a certain other pop star’s shows!

“You know,” Elton told Rolling Stone in a new interview, “f**king music magazines writing a review of Janet Jackson saying, ’This is the greatest show — four and a half stars.’

Janet, who’s a spritely 49 years old, is currently enjoying rave reviews for her current “Unbreakable World Tour.”
But if it helps, Elton isn’t saying too many kind things about his own mother, either — who he hasn’t spoken to for seven years.
“It upsets me,” said Elton, “but, to be honest with you, I don’t miss her!”
