First Eliza Dushku’s show Dollhouse gets canned and then she does the unthinkable.
The brunette action star and coproducer of the now -doomed fantasy series about a sexy but evil mind control corporation was rushed to the ER last week when an action stunt went awry.
Taking to Twitter, natch, Dushku wrote, "Hope y’all r enjoying Dollhouse! It wouldn’t b the Apocalypse if someone didn’t get hurt. On way to ER for x-ray on arm. Ow."
Dushku didn’t divulge exactly what had happened but later Tweet-ed, "Fractured radial head. Never been in a cast before – it’s warm.
"Will hide under wardrobe.
"I can still hold my shotgun/save the world."
Filming on the Joss Whedon series will wrap for good after the 2nd season finishes airing.
Despite crit kudos for the mixed messaged identity crisis pay-for-play fantasy scenario, new Dollhouse eps’ ratings didn’t match reruns of House and Bones in the same unforgiving time slot.
