DEMI MOORE has been hospitalized for suspected substance abuse and she’s heading to rehab, her rep confirmed!
Less than two months after her flameout divorce from Ashton Kucther, the pin-thin “Ghost” star was rushed to the emergency room after a frantic 911 call was placed.
After paramedics spent over a half hour at Demi’sposh but secluded manse near Franklin Canyon Park Demi, 49, she was taken to an unnamed Los Angeles-area hospital.
A fire department spokesman told media a 911 call came from Moore's address on Oak Pass Road.
"We did respond there at 10:49 p.m. for an unknown illness," a Los Angeles Fire spokesman told The New York Daily News. "A patient was transported at 11:21 p.m. to a local hospital."
Demi’s rep confirmed she was in trouble.
"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health," her publicist Carrie Gordon said.
"She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends," Gordon said.
It is unclear what prompted the 911 call nor what substances Demi was abusing at this juncture.
