Debt-ridden David Cassidy is in trouble AGAIN — this time for fleeing the scene of a car crash in Florida!
The burnt out “Partridge Family” star, who already has three DUI arrests, was cited by cops following a Sept. 9 collision in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
“David’s hit rock bottom, and he knows it,” a source told The National ENQUIRER. “He’s lucky he wasn’t killed!”
The 65-year-old former teen idol was reportedly traveling at a high speed and dodging in and out of traffic when his Kia bashed into a box truck that was parked in an emergency lane.
After stopping, the train-wreck star attempted to cover up his license plate before peeling out in his damaged car, which had a flat tire.
Cops found David at a local hospital because his wrecked car was parked right out front!
In addition to being cited for leaving the scene of a crash, he was charged with improper lane change and having an expired registration!
