Country star Daryle Singletary died suddenly at his Nashville home on Feb. 12 from an apparent blood clot — shocking fans with his sudden passing just days after playing his first concert of the year!
The country singer/songwriter had enjoyed a brief string of hits in the 1990s, and peaked twice at #2 on the charts with “I Let Her Lie” and “Amen Kind of Love.”
But the hits dried up quickly as Daryle spent years concentrating on recording covers of tunes by other songwriters.

The star always maintained a loyal fanbase, however, and didn’t have any regrets about not staying on top of the charts.
“My fans are the people that may not be real fond of the music that’s going on today,” he said — and even showed his dedication to the vintage Nashville sound on his 2015 album titled “There’s Still A Little Country Left.”
