Pals are thankful pregnant pop superstar Kelly Clarkson is shutting down her tour, The National ENQUIRER can reveal!
Kelly, 33, nixed 21 dates on her tour, saying doctors ordered her to rest her voice.
A source told The ENQUIRER: “It’s just as well that she’s taking the time out because everyone is worried about her pregnancy and this is the safe thing to do.”
The megastar, who has a 16-month-old daughter with husband Brandon Blackstock, announced in August she was pregnant again.
The source said Kelly weighs nearly double the 127 pounds she was in 2011 — and could soon reach 300 pounds.
“Kelly has taken so much heat for being overweight,” said the source. “But that’s unfair.
“Still, with all that weight there are fears among her pals that had she stayed on the tour she could have passed out — or even worse, collapsed!”
