Long-ago lovebirds Courteney Cox and Michael Keaton have rekindled their romance — thanks to mutual pal Jennifer Aniston!
With her wedding to Irish rocker Johnny McDaid, 39, cancelled, the former “Friends” cutie, 51, has quietly reconnected with Michael — two decades after they split, sources said.
“The spark between Courteney and Michael is still there!” gushed a pal.
“They’re very comfortable together. He’s making her feel good about herself again. They’re making up for lost time.”
Michael, 64, dated Courteney after his first marriage ended, and was devastated when she ended their five-year romance in 1995.
After they split, she added insult to injury by having a fling with his big-screen rival, Kevin Costner.
Courteney went on to marry and divorce actor David Arquette. Her 18-month engagement to Johnny, a musician with the band Snow Patrol, ended in September.
After Courteney’s wedding plans flamed out, Jen urged Oscar-nominated “Birdman” star Michael to contact her, said the source.
“Despite everything that happened, Michael never stopped loving Courteney,” added the source.
“On Jen’s suggestion, Michael called her.
“Once Courteney got over the shock, it was like they’d never been apart.
“Courteney has regretted walking out on Michael years ago, and she’s grateful he’s giving her a second chance.
“Now Jen’s thrilled they’re making another go of it. She’d love to see Courteney married and settled again!”
