Corey Haim’s sudden death of a suspected prescription drug overdose came as a shock to Hollywood
but one friend that was close to the Lost Boys star wasn’t surprised by his passing, and
tells RadarOnline.com that Corey had begged him for drugs just shortly before he passed away in a hospital in Burbank, California on March 10th.
Corey was in a bad way and he was begging me to give him pain medication shortly before his death," the source divulged. "But although I’ve read stories about a gang giving him prescription drugs he never spoke about that.
"I know he was taking a lot of Valium, he was very upset about his mom’s cancer as he was really close to her, and I guess it was his way of dealing with the stress."
