Pals fear heavy Chevy is eating himself to death!
Chevy Chase’s layered look can’t hide the fact that he’s piling the pounds back on!
As The National ENQUIRER previously reported, the “Saturday Night Live” legend, 71, was reportedly rushed to the hospital with heart attack symptoms after his weight had ballooned to nearly 300 pounds. The 6-foot-4 funnyman then dropped more than 40 pounds over a few months.
“It looks like Chevy’s got his appetite back,” a pal said. As these ENQUIRER photos show, Chevy was seen Dec. 10 at LAX looking like he’d gained back half the weight he lost.
Now pals are worried about his health all over again! “It’s a constant battle for Chevy. It’s scary when he starts gaining weight,” the friend divulged. In a frightening incident last year, the former star of NBC’s “Community” had trouble breathing and was rushed to an L.A. hospital with a possible heart attack.
Luckily, when doctors saw his test results, Chevy – who entered rehab to beat an addiction to prescription painkillers in 1986 – was given the okay to leave. Chevy’s rep said his ER visit resulted from “an asthma attack” and “had nothing to do with his heart.”
Added the pal: “If he keeps eating the way he does it’ll soon be all about his heart.”
