Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie have booted their rocker hubbies from the house — and sent the slacker siblings on the road, claimed a close insider!
That’s left Benji Madden — married to Cameron — and Nicole’s husband Joel Madden announcing a new tour starting in October.
“No one has cared about Good Charlotte since 2007, but here they are, flogging themselves on an American tour,” the insider spilled.
“Word is it’s the last thing Benji and Joel wanted to do. Apparently their wives started to fret the guys aren’t earning their own money.”
Cameron has retired from movies, but “can’t get a quiet moment to herself because Benji’s always there playing his music through the roof,” said the insider.
Meanwhile, Nicole is super busy with her fashion label and mothering the couple’s two daughters.
Benji and Joel have been “henpecked into making an album and touring,” says the source. “They aren’t playing huge arenas and they’re worried that they’re going to be a laughingstock in the music world. But they will do anything to keep Cam and Nicole happy!”
