Burt Reynolds Is ‘A Liar!’

Burt reynolds is a liar ne short

Burt Reynolds’ upcoming memoir is total B.S.!

That’s the startling claim of the actor’s sister-in-law — who sparked a nasty family feud by blasting the 79-year-old acting legend in a blockbuster interview with The National ENQUIRER.

“Burt’s a liar!” Maria Reynolds told The ENQUIRER in a world exclusive. “If you want to write a book — fine! But don’t write a book that’s a bunch of lies. Lies don’t sell. Truth sells!”

Maria’s husband, Jimmy, had a difficult home life, so Burt’s parents formally adopted him and he grew up with the future star in Florida.

While Burt went on to hit it big in Hollywood, Jimmy coached high school football.

Over the years, their relationship turned tumultuous, leading to an estrangement between the once-close brothers.

Now the ailing “Smokey and the Bandit” star is blaming Maria for his issues with Jimmy, according to an advance copy of Burt’s book, “But Enough About Me,” obtained by The ENQUIRER.

“It isn’t his fault. The gal he married wasn’t crazy about me,” Burt penned. “She thought I should have been more attentive to Jim and helped him more financially, but I’d already helped him a lot, and there came a time when I thought he should strike out on his own.”

Burt also criticized his brother for not accomplishing more in life!

“He had every break anybody could ask for, and I was disappointed with him in that sense. I thought he could have done better if he’d tried harder,” Burt continued.

But Maria disagreed with her famous brother-in-law’s harsh words.

“What he’s saying about us is not true!” she told The ENQUIRER. “Burt’s never called this house! And when Jimmy’s reached out, Burt wouldn’t pick up the phone!

“I don’t care if you don’t want to talk to us — but if you don’t, don’t blame other people!”

Even more disturbing, Maria claimed that Burt’s book comes at a tragic time in his brother’s life.

“Jimmy is sick, very sick,” she revealed. “What Burt did was wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong!”

From their home in Florida, Jimmy told The ENQUIRER: “I don’t know where he gets these stories. I love him. He’s a very giving person. He’s actually given more away than he’s kept for himself. This is sad to see.”

Added Maria: “His whole book is bull crap. It’s a bunch of lies. It should be (sold) in fiction.”
