Just six months after the shocking death of iconic actor Burt Reynolds, his adopted brother, Jimmy, has died, according to Radar Online.
The news outlet reported that The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office told them James Hooks Reynold succumbed on March 15 in Hollywood, Florida. He was 83 years old.
While no autopsy was performed, sources share that he may have died from a heart attack, just like his brother.
However, other things he could have died from a “broken heart” since he was snubbed from Burt’s funeral in September! The two were estranged for years prior to Burt’s death.
Burt’s ex Loni Anderson allegedly “didn’t invite Jimmy to his own brother’s funeral, and it broke his heart,” a friend of Jimmy’s Widow, Maria Reynolds, told Radar. “He never recovered.”
“He died in his wife’s arms,” the insider added. “He was so loved and will be missed.”
