Film icon BRIGITTE BARDOT offers to swap place in German prison with arrested marine activist.

Paul Watson, the founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and a former Greenpeace campaigner, is in prison in Germany.  He is accused of endangering the crew aboard a shark-finning ship after his team confronting them in an alleged menacing showdown off the shores of Costa Rica in 2002.

Interpol nabbed Watson on an international manhunt in Frankfurt, Germany on Sunday, and Deutschland law enforcement remanded him in custody.

WHY BRIGITTE BARDOT HATES SOPHIA LOREN's GUTS!!!

Livid Bardot, 77, is ready to trade places with the deep sea pirate, who has been battling marine life poachers for decades.

Bardot said, "Being outraged by the fact that he's been put in prison, I offer to take his place because I am his accomplice.

"I have always supported Paul Watson, my brother in arm.”

It remains unclear if German officials will allow the activist for actress prison swap to actually take place.
