Only Boy George and Prince know for sure — but the flamboyant “Karma Chameleon” singer has claimed he jumped in the sack with the pint-sized “Purple Rain” star!
Boy George, 54, is now a coach on the British version of the reality TV singing competition “The Voice.”
And he reportedly shocked the show’s live audience recently by announcing he had sex with fellow ’80s icon Prince!
The Culture Club star boasted about singing with R&B great Smokey Robinson when fellow coach and British pop star Paloma Faith said, “If we’re throwing big soul names out there, I’ve performed with Prince.”
That’s when Boy George dropped his bombshell, declaring, “Forget that, darling. I’ve slept with Prince!”
But that’s not the kind of pillow talk Prince, 57, wants to hear — since he’s now a devout Jehovah’s Witness, and his religion considers homosexuality a sin!
After “The Voice” audience reportedly erupted, Boy George immediately backtracked, saying he had a poster of Prince on his bedroom wall.
And a spokesperson for “The Voice” is also insisting the bold statement “was a joke.”
That’s likely a relief for Prince — who, just a few years ago, held up a Bible in an interview and said, “God came to Earth and saw people … doing it with whatever and … He was, like, ‘Enough!’”
