Buffy the Vampire Slayer‘s boozy star NICHOLAS BRENDON’s troubles are fangs to him.
RadarOnline.com reports Nicholas Brendon has checked into rehab, and that the thesp says alcohol and the sleeping pill Sonata were to blame for his wild melee with Santa Monica cops on St. Paddy’s Day.
The ENQUIRER had reported previously that the former “Xander” was tasered and cuffed after he took a poke at a cop.
Brendon told a pal he blacked out prior to the brawl and also told the friend that being tasered was “like being punched in the side by Rocky Balboa — the pain is so bad it runs up your spine.”
He was charged with felony vandalism and released on $20,000 bail.
Realizing he had a booze problem, the 38-year-old checked himself in the SOBA Recovery Center in Malibu.
