Funnyman Bob Saget, a former protégé of disgraced comedian Bill Cosby, declared that the accused serial sex abuser has “tarnished” his legacy and tainted his place in comedy history.

“I think any human being that does things that are despicable to other human beings will be slightly tarnished by history,” Saget said.

“It’s very sad,” the former “Full House” star added. “I think the answer is obvious, that the man has been tarnished. And it’s just sad for all of the people involved.”

Cosby, 78, has been accused by dozens and dozens of women of drugging and then sexually abusing them. The statute of limitations has run out on most of the crimes, preventing charges from being brought against the pervert; however several women have filed lawsuits against the legendary comedian.

“I went to (Cosby’s alma mater) Temple University, and he was a mentor of mine,” Saget, author of the book “Dirty Daddy,” admitted. “People that are your heroes are sometimes incredibly disappointing by turning out to be douchey people.”

Cosby and his wife of 50 years, Camille, were photographed together for the first time in more than a year as they left a New York City townhouse on Nov. 22.

Cosby has never been charged with any crimes connected to the sex-abuse scandal and has maintained his innocence.
