BAT-FLECK reveals secrets of new SUPERMAN-BATMAN movie and he’s NOT talking about newly cast WONDER WOMAN!

In an upcoming interview with Playboy for their blockbuster 60th anniversary ish he newly minted Caped Crusader divulges why he chose to play the iconic comics character.

Ben revealed he was well aware of the fannish Bat-lash against his casting but was unconcerned about donning cape and cowl. But didn’t care because what he saw on the old studio drawing board was  – – well — Bat-tastic.

“The stuff was incredible,” Affleck revealed.

“It was a unique take on Batman that was still consistent with the mythology. It made me excited.

“If I thought the result would be another Daredevil, I’d be out there picketing myself. Why would I make the movie if I didn’t think it was going to be good and that I could be good in it?”

“The idea for the new Batman is to redefine him in a way that doesn’t compete with the Bale and Chris Nolan Batman but still exists within the Batman canon,” Ben elaborated to the Hef glossy.

Among the many comic book fans who hate his turn as Marvel Comics’ “blind-as-a-bat but ain’t he neat” super-hero Daredevil is Affleck himself — saying Daredevil and not Gigli is the only movie he’s ever regretted doing.

“It just kills me,” Affleck said. “I love that story, that character, and the fact that it got f****ed up the way it did stays with me.

“Maybe that’s part of the motivation to do Batman.”

B-b-but Ben –  THAT’s where you fell in love with future wife Jennifer Garner who played katana wielding assassin Elektra in the flick.

Good thing Wonder Woman is doing the horizontal mambo with Clark Kent these days and NOT Bruce Wayne in the current DC Comics continuity.

We’d hate to see your missus go all “Mourning Becomes Elektra” on ya!
