Brave, frail Barry Manilow is making a miraculous return to the stage!

Despite a heart attack scare a year and a half ago, pop music showman Barry Manilow is ready to take a chance again by embarking on a brief concert swing this spring!

“Barry’s like Lazarus,” says a friend to The National ENQUIRER, suggesting the singer’s come back from the dead. “Less than two years ago, it appeared he might not be long for this world!”

On Oct. 17, 2015, the Mandy crooner began experiencing heart palpitations in Palm Springs.

Barry, who’d had heart issues before, was then airlifted for life-saving treatment to Los Angeles where doctors detected atrial fibrillation — an irregular heartbeat that can lead to a stroke or heart failure!

“This was the worst episode yet!” an insider dished at the time. “He feared he was having a heart attack. He and his husband, Garry, were terrified.”

The recovering Copacabana crooner announced a new album, ‘This Is My Town: Songs of New York,’ and a four-concert tour stopping in Durant, Okla., Inglewood, Calif., Rosemont, Ill., and Uniondale, N.Y., this May.

After his most recent scare, the singer agreed to slow down, claimed a source.

But he can’t stay away from the spotlight,” said his pal, “especially when he has a terrific new album he wants people to hear!”
