Carly Simon says that the romance she’s captured in song began at a way-too-early age!

The pop legend was lured into several sexual encounters with a teenager when she was only 7 years old!

“It was heinous,” wrote Carly in her new memoir “Boys in the Trees”—and The ENQUIRER has a first look!

“It changed my view about sex for a long time,” wrote the songwriter behind “You’re So Vain” and other hits.

The Oscar and Grammy winner attempted to capture the shameful details in the title track to her 1978 album “Boys in the Trees”—and recalled that her own sisters wouldn’t believe her claims about the sexual trysts at the time.

“Neither of them were at all aware of what had happened to me,” Carly wrote.

“I told them the first year that it was happening, and they thought I was just trying to be one of the bigger girls.”

But the singer, now 70, believes that her mother knew what was happening to her very young daughter.

Carly recalled that her mom suddenly banned the teenage boy from the family’s home one summer.

That left confused young Carly “devastated,” as the gullible girl still thought of the creepy encounters as something more romantic .

“Your libido overpowers everything!” said Carly.

“You’re so libidinous, even at the age of 9 and 10. “And sometimes there’s an outlet there.

I bet in many more cases than we know about there is.”

Carly confessed that her young mind created such an emotional investment in the events that she refused to even tell her child psychologist about the pervy teen—out of fear that her doctor would strip away the “romance” of the sexual encounters.

Her own sisters wouldn’t believe her for several more decades, until they read an advance copy of “Boys in the Trees!”
