The man hit by an SUV that made a fireball out of a gas pump has passed away — as police in Seattle, Wa., investigate the shocking devastation caught on tape.
The night was lit up when a 60-year-old hired driver for Uber plowed into a gas station, after his 2007 Nissan X-Terra first collided with a 1997 Honda Accord.
The SUV then raced for another two blocks before driving into the gas station pump.
As seen in the video above, the vehicle knocked away the gas pump and caused a horrific explosion.
But the chaos came after the driver of the Honda was severely injured on the night of Monday, March 13. The 35-year-old victim died sometime the next day.
Amazingly, the Uber driver escaped without injuries — although his passenger was taken to the hospital for minor treatment.
