Congregating with his sexy “master” made the Reverend Peter Miqueli hot under the collar!
Not his cleric collar, though — his dog collar!
Miqueli, who pastored at St. Frances de Chantal Church in New York, abruptly resigned when investigators learned the holy man was allegedly paying thousands of dollars for lusty trysts — including acting like a dog — with a muscle-bound escort!
Now, the New York Archdiocese and prosecutors are investigating whether Miqueli stole church funds to pay for his warped master/slave relationship with studly Keith Crist, while parishioners have filed a lawsuit against him for allegedly stealing up to $1 million from the church!
Among the stunning lawsuit accusations, Miqueli forked over $1,000 per session for pup treatments and drinking Crist’s urine.
The scandal has mortified the holy man’s brother.
“What can I say? I’m embarrassed,” said Joseph Miqueli.
While refusing to specify some allegations, he hinted that he and loved ones knew something didn’t add up after meeting Crist.
“It was kind of obvious,” said Joseph. “I know that’s terrible. He’s got to ask for forgiveness.”
Meanwhile, neighbors witnessed steady streams of male visitors to the randy rev’s backyard hot tub.
Things between Crist, 41, and Miqueli, 53, dissolved quickly when the cleric learned his master had a longtime girlfriend — and forced him to choose between the two!
That was “the straw that broke the camel’s back,” said spurned galpal Tatyana Gudin, who blew the whistle on Miqueli and Crist.
She even contacted St. Frances parishioners and New York City’s Cardinal Timothy Dolan to blab about the priest’s secret life of larceny and lust. “
You bet I saw it,” said Dolan of the lascivious emails which purportedly accuse Miqueli of embezzling church funds to pay for a pricey New Jersey home, a new BMW and $300 bottles of scotch.
Documents reveal Miqueli was paying Crist’s rent and had significantly more cash than his $30,000 yearly salary could explain.
But at least one parishioner isn’t so sure Dolan isn’t trying to cover up the mess.
“We can’t understand it,” said Jack Lynch.
“It seems they are going out of their way to protect him, and for years. We suspect a scandal behind the scandal!”
