A pregnant 10-year-old’s family has spoken out on her behalf, and said she will carry the baby to term!
Nicholas Deon Thrash is facing 10 counts of child molestation after the 34-year-old molested and impregnated the girl who’s family trusted him.
Thrash is currently in lockup on a $500,000 bond awaiting trial, while his victim is 20 weeks pregnant!
“We invited him into our home. He helped my husband all he could,” said the girl’s grandmother. “Now her whole life has changed. She’s scared being this far along and having to carry this baby!”
The girl’s mother is also serving time in prison on two counts of “neglect of a dependent,” so other family members are continuing to care for her and are asking for help in obtaining maternity clothes for her.
It is unclear whether the family will keep the child when it is born or will give it up for adoption.
“I hope he gets what’s coming to him. He’s got to pay for this,” added the grandmother regarding Thrash.
