The seduction of the prison seamstress who helped two killers escape began with a “thoughtful” family portrait!
“I helped Inmate [Richard] Matt and Inmate [David] Sweat because I was caught up in the fantasy,” Joyce Mitchell said of her role in the notorious June breakout.
Mitchell, 51, revealed Matt – who was later shot and killed – wooed her for months before the escape.
He won her over with a sketch of her husband, Lyle, and their kids.
That’s when she began doing favors for Matt, and his come-on took a dark turn.
“He kissed me with an open mouth,” she said.
Matt later demanded oral sex and Mitchell agreed – saying she feared for her family.
She insisted she never had any sex with Sweat, but provided him graphic pictures.
“I took naked photos of my breasts and vagina and gave them to Matt to give to Sweat,” she added.
Mitchell also claimed Matt then pressured her into being their getaway driver, and snuffing her husband – whom he dubbed “The Glitch.”
He gave her pills to knock out Lyle so she could meet the killers outside the upstate New York prison.
“The plan was to drive to my home, and Matt was going to kill ‘The Glitch,’” Mitchell said. “But I panicked and couldn’t.”
