Two twisted Oklahoma brothers slaughtered their parents and three siblings with the intentions of going on a killing spree that would put them in the history books!
Robert and Michael Bever, 18 and 16, were busted by cops while cowering in the woods behind their home after hacking their family members to death on July 23.
They’ll both be charged as adults with multiple counts of murder.
“I don’t know if there was any remorse or anything going on,” said Corporal Leon Calhoun of the Broken Arrow Police Department.
According to the medical examiner, the victims – David Bever, 52, wife April, 44, and their children, Daniel, 12, Christopher, 7, and Victoria, 5 – died from “multiple sharp-force injuries.”
Authorities recovered weapons from the scene, including a hatchet and several knives.
But police said the bloodbath was only the beginning of the brothers’ sick plan for mass murder.
Days after the attack, 3,000 rounds of ammo were delivered to the home.
The boys reportedly said they intended to use it to kill so many people they’d be more famous than Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris, who shot and killed 13 people at Columbine High School in 1999.
Their rampage was only stopped when brother Daniel called 911 before they brutally eviscerated him.
Police said the phone call saved the lives of their sisters, 13 and 2, who were the only family members to survive.
Police have described the boys as without any feelings of guilt.
As for Robert, Leon said: “I just don’t know if he’s even comprehending what has happened, or if he really is so removed that he can’t feel remorse.”
But neighbors were shocked that this “typical suburban family” could be the victims of such a ghastly event.
The children were described as “polite and friendly.”
“Robert loved his family,” said neighbor Billie Paolini.
