Beauty Queen’s Drug Cartel Nightmare!

Beauty queens drug cartel nightmare ne short

Former beauty queen Ali Landry is caught up in a horrific drug cartel–related double murder investigation.

The 42-year-old 1996 Miss USA and famous Doritos Girl pitchwoman collapsed in shock after learning that her brother-in-law and father-in-law were kidnapped for ransom and brutally slain in a lawless area of Mexico.

“Ali is beside herself with grief. She’s waiting to hear from investigators what went wrong,” a source told The National ENQUIRER.

The bombshell — who has three kids with husband, acclaimed director Alejandro Gomez Monteverde — was told her husband’s relatives vanished on Sept. 4.

Alejandro’s brother, Juan Manuel Gomez Monteverde, and father, Juan Manuel Gomez Fernandez, were heading from their Gulf coast home in Tamaulipas to their ranch 10 miles away in Veracruz when they were abducted.

Though local TV reported the kidnappers had been paid off, they refused to set their captives free.

Instead, the father and son were found dead 16 days later in a rural area near Veracruz.

Authorities said they both died of severe head injuries.

As Ali and Alejandro come to terms with the family shocker, investigators have zeroed in on crucial CSI clues in a car they found that is believed to have been used by the kidnappers.

But Ali’s brother-in-law had links with mobsters at an eatery in the area — which is in a known cartel stronghold — that likely got him and his dad killed, sources said.
