Crooner wanna-be Twilight vamp ROBERT PATTINSON’s music career launch, turned into a boozy "hooch-a-nanny".
The 24-year-old heartthrob spent a fortune to hire professional musicians and rent a Hollywood sound studio on Aug. 30, but his attempt to jump-start his singing career turned into "a night of all booze and no music," an insider told The ENQUIRER.
"Rob needs to seriously rethink his musical career," the insider said.
While Robert had some of the industry’s top musicians on hand ready to play, he didn’t manage to get anything done – because he "invited a bunch of his rowdy friends" and brought "tons of booze" to the studio, says the insider.
"He ended up goofing off all night with his buddies and getting drunk.
"Rob mostly joked around with the musicians and kept them there for hours.
"He got so wasted that he couldn’t get it together long enough to complete one track."
