Horrified police in Woodruff, S.C., weren't prepared for the sickening secret of Todd Kohlhepp — who was first arrested after cops found a woman chained in a storage container on his property. The unnamed woman was already a tragic victim, but now police have learned her captor was a vicious serial killer!

Authorities say that Kohlhepp has admitted to killing at least seven people for over a decade. In a bizarre twist, the psycho even confessed to one brutal murder on the day before the crime marked its 13th anniversary!

Kohlhepp, 45, admitted to the 2003 massacre of four employees at a motorcycle shop in nearby Chesnee, S.C.. More recently, the hulking psycho had murdered 32-year-old Charles Carver — the boyfriend of the woman found chained with a leash around her neck in a locked metal container.

Local police tracked Kohlhepp's victims to his property through their cellphone signals. Kohlhepp had been a registered sex offender since the age of 15, when he raped a 14-year-old neighbor. He had still been able to pose as a normal citizen who headed up his own real-estate firm.

The police said that Kohlhepp took them to the graves of two other victims on his property, in addition to Carver. "God answered our prayers," explained Sheriff Chuck Wright, who's held his job since 2004. "If it wasn't for Him answering our prayers and Todd talking to us, I don't know that we'd ever solve that case."
