JAMES Mac ARTHUR, the original Danno from Hawaii Five-0, is slated to return on new incarnation of surf & turf cop show.
At 72, MacArthur is the last remaining cast member of the hit series that ran from 1968 to 1980 and he’s agreed to guest on new series that preems next week.
Fan faves Alec O’Loughlin steps into late Jack Lord’s shoes as top cop McGarrett while Lost’s Daniel Dae Kim and Battlestar Galactica‘s Grace Park assist in the action.
MacArthur’s part of Danny "Danno’ Williams is interpreted by Scott Caan.
"This one’s going to be a hit," MacArthur told The ENQUIRER in an exclusive interview..
"It’s got a good cast and good plots. They’ve asked me to appear in the new show.
" I’ll do it when the time is right."
