A bloody fingerprint at the scene of the double murders of OJ SIMPSON‘s wife NICOLE BOWN and her pal RON GOLDMAN could have been the smoking gun that convicted the disgraced footballer but forensics experts blew it!
Lead detective in the case MARK FUHRMAN, who perjured himself at the trial ,revealed that he and his partner found a bloody fingerprint on the brass handle leading to the home where the double murders were committed.
"The suspect, when he leaves, there is a gate and there is a brass turnstile on that gate," Fuhrman told Oprah Winfrey on her show.
" Now, he’s injured to the left side of his body, his finger is cut, there’s blood on his hand… There’s a thumbprint right on the brass turnstile… Nobody read my notes for two months."
The key evidence which was missed by forensics because they didn’t see Fuhrman’s notes in time had been wiped clean.
"They brought over a locksmith to change the locks," Fuhrman divulged. "That locksmith actually took that lock off, saw the bloody fingerprint, figured it had already been processed.
"He threw it away, put in a new lock."
Simpson was acquitted in the controversial criminal prosecution but was later found liable in a civil suit.
"The Juice" is currently in prison convicted on charges stemming from a botched Vegas burglary attempt.
