Tension simmering between Wesley Snipes and director David Goyer suddenly boiled over on the “Blade 3” set when the star physically attacked him, say eyewitnesses — and now Goyer’s hired hulking Hell’s Angels as bodyguards!
Trouble began brewing weeks ago after production revved up in Vancouver. Nervous crew members watched a time bomb tick as Snipes carped about the script and direction by Goyer — creator of the “Blade” flicks — and Goyer groused that the actor often arrived late.
When Snipes showed up a whopping five hours tardy just before Christmas, the director exploded — raging that he was killing everyone’s chances of going home for the holidays.
Snipes — screaming that the real roadblock was Goyer’s lousy script — raised his fist threateningly, then lunged for the director and grabbed him by the neck! Crew members leaped in and dragged Snipes off Goyer, who was okay ⦠but visibly shaken by the sudden attack. Next day, he showed up flanked by two scary-looking Hell’s Angels bikers — and Snipes ain’t snipin’ anymore!
Stay tuned.
