THE REAL STORY OF JACK BLACK & THE HOOKERS

He never made The ENQUIRER until last January, but “Shallow Hal” star Jack Black’s making up for lost time FAST! Jack had told me on the Howard Stern show that he’d never been in our paper, so we kindly ran a pic of him bicycling in his briefs. But now . . . WOW!! Jack was just accused of . . . er, “stiffing” a couple of skanky ho’s, brawling publicly with them — AND trying to run some dude over! But here’s my exclusive GOOD NEWS — the “real” Jack wasn’t even there! Despite reports that the 33-year-old singer/actor (legal name Thomas J. Black) was floozy-fighting, cops ID’d the alleged troublemaker as an older guy with a similar name! Amused “Shallow Hal” told a pal: “I can get in enough trouble on my own. I don’t need another ‘Jack Black’ out there fighting hookers.” The bizarre drama unfolded July 13 at an ATM in LA. Two girls from an outcall service had been called to the pad of a man who said he was Jack Black, the actor, a police officer told us. “After some sexual foreplay, the man and the girls drove to the bank. But he could get only $300 out of his ATM and the girls . . . became furious when he tried to write them a check.” The guy allegedly knocked one girl down and threw food and drink on her. When a passerby tried to break it up, the man allegedly tried to run down the Good Samaritan in a Mercedes-Benz! Cops established that actor Jack Black was 20 miles away at the time.
