Theater and film legend Hume Cronyn affectionately ratted out old pal Liz Taylor as (surprise, surprise!) a potty-mouth! Cronyn was locked in a limo with Liz, who’d just watched then-hubby Richard Burton playing Shakespeare on Broadway, and cracked up as Liz waved to fans clawing at the locked windows — saying what they thought was, “Thank you . . . thank you!” Said Cronyn: “What Liz was actually saying was, ‘Eff you . . . eff you . . . and eff you!'”
