SWEET SMELL OF EXCESS! PAULA ABDUL made a big stink in a Madhattan hotel lobby while in town promoting her new CBS series "Live to Dance."
Swamped by a crowd of fans, Paula posed for photos and signed autographs, then started yammering about the new fragrance she’s putting on the market soon. "I just happen to have a sample for all of you to smell," she announced – and suddenly started spraying it on everyone in sight, squealing: "What do you think?…Don’t you just LOVE it?"
Instantly, a woman started screaming: "Stop! STOP! Don’t spray that stuff on me… I’m allergic to perfumes!"
Sneezing nonstop, the stricken babe fumed: "This stuff stinks! Now look what you’ve done!"
Stunned Paula swiftly vaporized into a waiting limo.
