PAUL NEWMAN SAVES TOM HANKS FROM DEATH ON THE SET!

FIRST, I’ve got GOOD news:

Tom Hanks and Paul Newman are STILL ALIVE!! In the wake of freak accidental crew deaths on “Spider-Man” and “Proof of Life,” 76-year-old Newman became “Best Actor In a Real-Life Drama” when he warned co-workers on his new flick “Road to Perdition” to run like hell — or get ELECTROCUTED — bare moments before disaster struck! On location in Chicago, Paul and Tom Hanks were doing a scene when gale-force winds whipped up suddenly – – lashing power lines overhead! Paul yelled for everyone to get out from under — FAST! Moments later, a ferocious gust snapped a power pole in half! It crashed down where everyone had been standing as hot electric lines writhed like hissing snakes! No one was hurt, and the only bad news was that filming halted while firemen rushed in to control the danger. Asked how he’d been so alert, Paul told Tom & Co. that nothing beats experience — he’d survived a similar scare on another movie set years ago!
