MOTOWN MAGIC: The nuptials of “When in Rome” stars KRISTEN BELL and DAX SHEPARD will be packed with D-listers – that’s D for Detroit, folks (which is an A-class town, of course).
Both hail from the Detroit ’burbs and are De-termined to honor their roots by throwing a Motown-y shindig, rather than a posh Hollyweird bash.
Kristen, of Polish descent, says she just can’t wait for “her big fat Polish wedding!” Says a pal: “She remembers the wedding receptions she went to as a kid in the old Catholic church social hall. Those were some of the best times of her life.”
“Rome” co-star JOSH DUHAMEL told Kristen it’s a great idea, and quipped: “I’m from Minot, North Dakota – Detroit would be like Paris to me!”
