KATE HUDSON had her family gasping for breath – and not in awe – when her kitchen began filling with smoke as she tried to impress baby-daddy/fiance MATTHEW BELLAMY, mom GOLDIE HAWN and dad KURT RUSSELL, with her culinary skills.
After Kate got a tasty ham cooking, she stepped away to chat with Mom. Their gab-fest ended fast when Kurt blurted that he smelled smoke.
“Oh, my God,” screamed Kate. “The ham!”
Everyone rushed into the kitchen, and Kurt cracked: “I think it’s done!”…Cough! Hack! Choke!…
The family finally cleared the room – and their lungs – of smoke, then phoned for Thai takeout.
