KELSEY GRAMMER dumped his wife of 13 years with a heart-breaking phone call, according to a report.
The NY Post reports that Grammer, 55, split with Camille Donatacci, 41, over the phone more than a month ago telling her he "was done and wanted the single life" prior to The Tony Awards.
A source told the NY tab that Grammer begged Camille to jet in to NYC to put on a public display at the award showys days later and then refused her into his apartment.
"Kelsey was so cold. He told her it was over and he wanted to see other people, but still asked her to be at the Tonys. She stayed at the London Hotel, and in public they acted like a couple, but he wouldn’t let her in his apartment, or discuss a reconciliation, the source divulged.
"Some friends say he changed after he moved to New York five months ago," the source told the Post.
"He started hanging out late with a new crowd after the show, and became more distanced from Camille. He was living the single life.
Camille had filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences" and seeks physical custody of the couple’s children after helping the Frazier star beat his booze and drug problems.
