Actor Hugh Grant has revealed the cause of his breakup with longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley — he’s just too boring!
The British couple, who made quite a few headlines throughout the 90s, ended their 13 year relationship in May.
“Basically my life is so boring, it’s embarrassing,” Grant, 40, confided to a German paper. “I would love to be a jet-setter, flying off to parties in New York and Monte Carlo. Obviously I was simply too dull for Liz.”
Grants most exciting claim to fame came in 1995 after he was caught with a prostitute in Los Angeles. And as for his acting career, he doesn’t see that lasting much longer either.
“Believe me when I say I have no ambition to have my face in front of the camera when I’m 50 or 60. I hope to do something better with my life someday,” he said.
