Busty model Anna Nicole Smith is fuming mad at Playboy magazine, the same publication that made her a celebrity in the 90s.
According to a New York paper, representatives for Smith said the former Playmate of the Year refused to shed her clothes again for the magazine, so they decided to do the next best thing –they’re going to run old photos instead.
“These pictures are very tacky. [They’re] very annoying and they make light of her situation,” a spokesperson for Smith said.
So what exactly is so “tacky” about these photos? In the spread, Smith is featured rolling around in diamonds and expensive mink fur. It wouldn’t be so bad if she wasn’t in the midst of trying to get half a billion dollars from her late husband’s estate.
“They call her a $450 million Playmate,” her publicist said. “She hasn’t even gotten it yet. It’s not a done deal. She’s still fighting for it.”
Meanwhile, folks at Playboy stand by the photos and say they’re “beautiful.”
“We think the fans will love the picture,” said a publicist.
