Even Shannen Doherty couldn’t “charm” her way out of this one. The 29-year-old star of Charmed was arrested on Thursday after she was pulled over for suspicion of drunken driving.
Police decided to stop Doherty when they witnessed her black pickup truck driving recklessly on the Ventura Freeway, just north of Los Angeles. After declining to take a breath test at the scene, she was then taken to jail for a blood test.
Doherty, who previously starred in Beverly Hills 90210, is no stranger to the law. She made headlines in 1997 when she threw a beer bottle at a car during an argument and was ordered to enroll in anger-management counseling.
The moody actress appears in court on January 26 for the latest charges.
