On New Year’s Eve, Calista Flockhart joined the ranks of Hollywood’s single moms when she watched the birth of her soon-to-be adopted son.
Calista, 36, who plays the single gal who’s always looking for love on the popular FOX series Ally McBeal, decided that she was ready for motherhood now — and didn’t need a man in her life to help her fulfill her dreams of having a child.
“She’s been talking about adopting a child for a long time now,” a source said. “I’m glad her dream has come true. She’s made to be a mom.”
