Crazed Arizona gunman Jared Loughner kept a terrifying secret diary of his dreams — and The ENQUIRER has learned exclusive details of its shocking contents and how he used it to plot his shooting rampage.
The vicious killer, whose favorite readings included Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” claimed to practice “conscious dreaming” — the ability to create and control his own dreams while being fully aware he is in a dream state.
Incredibly, his bizarre beliefs are ripped straight from the pages of some of Hollywood’s biggest hits – including “The Matrix” and Leonardo DiCaprio’s hit from last summer, “Inception.”
The movie characters perform superhuman and violent acts in their dreams — and the Arizona mad-man became convinced he could do the same, The ENQUIRER learned.
On Jan. 8, Loughner turned his “conscious dreams” into a real-life nightmare when in a dreamlike haze he coldbloodedly killed six and injured 13 — including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, 40 — outside a Safeway supermarket in Tucson, Ariz.
