The bloody and mutilated body of pediatrician Robin Goldman was found in a bathroom shower of the $2.8 million mansion she shared with husband Julius “Jules” Reich — in the first murder case in Scarsdale, N.Y., since 1977!

Police today charged tax specialist Reich, 61 — who was reportedly taken into custody with a black eye and bruises on his face as well as wounds on his hands — with second-degree murder, but more charges are possible.

Police suspect Robin, 58, was killed in a violent domestic dispute that also resulted in Reich’s wounds, suggesting that the terrified wife fought valiantly for her life.

Court records reveal that Reich had filed for divorce last summer and was supposed to meet with a mediator Monday.

Scarsdale police said Reich himself called 911 just after 10 a.m. yesterday.

A funeral for Goldman, who was affiliated with the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, was set for 2 p.m. today at Young Israel of Scarsdale.

“It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the tragic and untimely passing of Robin Goldman,” read a statement on the Young Israel website.

“As a community, we are grief stricken and our hearts are filled with pain to know that Robin, who was so good, so sweet and so pious has so suddenly been taken from us.”

Reich was ordered held without bail at the Westchester County jail pending his next court appearance, which will be Tuesday.

The suburban couple had two daughters, one son and four grandchildren.
