DANCE OF DEATH

description

Dance of Death Widower Alan Helmick hoped to sharpen his ballroom skills — and ended up in a tragic dance of death.

After losing his wife of 36 years, the millionaire businessman was lonely, so he signed up for lessons at a dance studio.

He met instructor Miriam Giles and became infatuated — but he never suspected what he was getting into when she waltzed into his life.

“She was after a sugar daddy. I told him to be careful — to watch his bank account,” revealed Barb Watts, owner of another dance studio where Miriam had worked.

But the smitten 62-year-old ignored her.

Two years later, Helmick was dead, and now 52-year-old Miriam is in jail — charged with his brutal murder.

Shortly after the millionaire met Miriam, they tied the knot and moved to a 40-acre, $700,000 ranch in Whitewater, Colo., where they kept horses.

Helmick, who made millions in the mortgage business, lavished money on Miriam — but apparently not enough.

She secretly began siphoning money from his bank accounts to fuel her free-spending ways, charge authorities.

By the time she’d pilfered $139,000, Helmick’s banker became concerned and repeatedly tried to contact him, according to officials.

“Miriam felt she was going to be found out, so she decided to kill Alan,” a law enforcement source told The ENQUIRER.
