Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt is “every woman’s dream” and has found the “right one” in wife Angelina Jolie, according to his first-ever girlfriend.
In a world exclusive interview with The National ENQUIRER, Brad’s childhood sweetheart, Kim Bell, opened up for the first time about dating the future superstar while growing up in the 1970s.
Brad and Kim – then known as Kim Hubbard – dated from ages 13 to 15 while attending Kickapoo High School in Springfield, Mo. They served together on the student council, and posed next to each other in these never-before-seen photos from that time.
“Brad was a good first boyfriend,” said the 50-year-old mother of two who still lives in Springfield. “I think everybody knew he would be successful in whatever he would do. He had leadership skills. He was sweet and kind.”
Kim described Oscar winner Angelina as “the right one for him,” adding: “He’s every woman’s dream. He looks like he’s a good dad.”
Recalling their dates, Kim said: “When you’re that young you don’t even have a car. You go to parties and sporting events.”
And she doesn’t find it unusual that she dated one of the world’s sexiest men.
“It’s not strange at all,” said Kim, who married Howard Bell in May 1986, and had daughters Keshia, 27, and Kameron, 21. Her husband and Brad knew each other as youngsters “because in Springfield everybody knows everybody,” Kim said.
“But Howard wasn’t jealous. We’d watch Brad’s movies and joke about it.”
Howard coached high school baseball in Springfield for 30 years. Tragically, he was diagnosed with ALS – also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease – in early 2012 and he died 15 months later.
Kim recently did the famed “ice bucket challenge” to raise money to fight ALS, and nominated Brad to do the same. The “Moneyball” star hasn’t stepped up so far, but Kim says she bumps into his family – parents Jane and Bill, brother Doug and sister Julie – around town. “They’re beautiful people,” Kim told The ENQUIRER. But she hasn’t seen Brad since he left for Hollywood. “He doesn’t come back and socialize,” Kim said. Brad, 50, wed Angelina, 39, on Aug. 23 at their French chateau with their six children participating in the intimate ceremony. Kim described Oscar winner Angelina as “the right one for him,” adding: “He’s every woman’s dream. He looks like he’s a good dad.” But she insists she’s “never really thought about” what might have been if she’d stuck with Brad. “My husband Howard was a local celebrity,” she pointed out. “I feel lucky that I married him, and had a life with him.”
