The thesp was shooting a scene from new untitled flick in Washington DC when he appeared to be hit by a car much to the horror of concerned passer-bys.
Luckily his Guinness survived intact as did the bag of groceries as it WAS only a stunt.
In a related story, Radaronline.com witnessed a death cab bent on cutie Robert Pattinson that nearly hit him as he fled shrieking tweens clogging a location shoot in NYC. THAT was reportedly NOT a stunt.
