UPDATE: CHRIS CHARGED BUT NO PLEA

description

Chris Brown showed up for court Thursday to face two felony charges — assault and making criminal threats — in connection with the alleged assault on his girlfriend Rihanna!

Chris’ celeb lawyer, Mark Geragos, did not a enter a plea to the felonies, but did ask for a continuance to April 6.

If convicted, Chris could be looking at a maximum of four years and eight months in state prison, L.A. District Attorney spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said.

At one point the judge told Chris, “You are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone.”

The judge asked Chris’ lawyer if there was a “no-contact order” in place. “Miss Fenty [Rihanna] does not request such an order,” said Geragos.
