Media mogul and White House hopeful DONALD TRUMP has hired a team of detectives to dig deep in the archives to prove that Barack Obama was not born in the United States and would be then ineligible to be President.
"I have people that actually have been studying it, and they cannot believe what they're finding," Trump said on NBC's "Today" show.
"I'm starting to think that he was not born here."
Regardless of the fact that Obama has already has produced a state certificate of live birth and Hawaii officials have certified his citizenship, Trump is now on “birther patrol”.
The New York Post reports that The Donald’s mandate to the masses may be helping him kick ass with GOP Primary voters.
In the latest Wall Street Journal/ NBC poll Trump's tied for second place, at 17 percent, with Mike Huckabee as ex-Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney leads with 21 percent.
