Suspects in John Travolta blackmail enter a plea.

Ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne and former Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater entered a plea of not guilty on charges they tried to extort $25 million from Travolta.

The blackmail plot centered on their demands to keep secret a document related to the treatment of Travolta’s son Jett, 16, who died following after a seizure in January

The accused suspects remain free on bail and no longer have to report daily to police.
 
It is not known at this time whether Travolta himself who is reported suffering post traumatic grief will testify in the trial expected to begin September 21.
